Own a Unique Lifestyle Business in the Perfect Country Location: Mintaro Maze for Sale

In case you haven’t heard, Mintaro Maze is now for sale. Owners Sharon and Mick are ready to retire and would love to see the Mintaro Maze taken over by someone with fresh energy and a vision for the future. Here is everything you need to know about what it’s like owning a maze and some ideas the current owners have for future buyers.

1. A Day in the Life of Running a Lifestyle Business
There is no typical day! If you enjoy variety, this is the perfect lifestyle business. The maze is open on weekends and school holidays to the public, and we also take group bookings during the week. We welcome a vast array of visitors, allowing us to meet people from all over the world. Aside from hosting visitors, we maintain the garden, stock up the shop and café supplies, and manage bookwork.

2. Balancing Work with Personal Life
Owning this property in its current iteration provides a nice balance. Being open only two days a week allows us to run a second business, spend time in our personal garden, enjoy our grandchildren, and run errands during the week. This flexible schedule offers an ideal country lifestyle opportunity.

3. The Perfect Location for Your Destination Business
The Mintaro Maze is located in the picturesque, quaint country town of Mintaro in South Australia’s Clare Valley region, known for its produce and wine. We are within walking distance to the local pub, cellar doors, restaurants, the local football and netball club, and other tourist attractions like Martindale Hall. The property itself is peaceful, featuring a large private garden, veggie patches, bonfire areas, shedding, and outdoor entertaining spaces. This is what we will miss the most – sitting on the veranda or front lawn with family and friends enjoying the natural environment.

4. Endless Opportunities for Future Use
The opportunities for this property are endless. The population north of Adelaide continues to grow every year, ensuring a long successful life ahead as a tourism attraction. Other potential uses include a destination nursery, function centre, boutique cellar door, micro-brewery, serious dining destination, or even eco-friendly accommodation. We are excited to see what happens next!

If you’re looking for a lifestyle business that offers a perfect country lifestyle opportunity in an idyllic location, Mintaro Maze could be your next venture. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to own a piece of South Australia’s charm and make it your own!
